Rishvanth Reddy Mucheli

About me
I’m Rishvanth, from Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh.
I am interested in working on Indian politics and society, particularly in examining social changes and social movements, as well as politics and political structures that impact marginalized communities in India.
I am currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty at Christ University in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where I teach courses in subaltern studies, Indian politics and society, development and public policy. Additionally, I mentor students at the Research Lab in the Department of International Studies, Political Science, and History, and conduct weekly seminars for undergraduate political science students.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology from Christ University, Bengaluru (2018-21), and a Master’s in International Social and Public Policy (Development) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (2021-22). Previously, I worked as a researcher at the Institute for Competitiveness in Haryana (2022-23).
Outside academia, I enjoy trying new foods, strolling in bookshops, and reading children’s fiction and Sri Sri poems.
