Rishvanth Reddy Mucheli

About me
I am a Programme Coordinator at the New India Foundation, Bengaluru.
Between 2023 and 2025, I served as Adjunct Faculty at Christ University, where I taught courses in subaltern studies, Indian politics and society, and development and public policy. I also mentored students at the Research Lab in the Department of International Studies, Political Science, and History, and conducted weekly seminars for undergraduate political science students.
My work sits at the intersection of politics and society, with a particular focus on social changes, social movements, and political structures that impact marginalized communities in India.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology from Christ University, Bengaluru (2018–21), and a Master’s in International Social and Public Policy (Development) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2021–22). I previously worked as a researcher at the Institute for Competitiveness in Haryana (2022–23).
I am from Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh. Outside academia, I enjoy trying new foods, strolling in bookshops, and reading children’s fiction and the poetry of Sri Sri.
